Senior Clinical Quality Improvement Manager

Alameda Health System is looking for a Senior Quality Improvement Manager. We are looking for a manager who has experience managing projects independently and with team mates. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and improving clinical care outcomes at one or more facilities at Alameda Health System and leading multiple large scale, local or organization wide, clinical quality improvement initiatives. This role combines the clinical expertise required to change practice with the leadership skills to influence clinical processes, systems, and outcomes. You will examine existing models of care delivery to identify opportunities for systems based improvements grounded in evidence, best practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and data analysis of high risk, high volume, and/or problem prone processes. In addition, you will be responsible for negotiating timelines and priorities for projects, coordinating action plans, and monitoring/analyzing results for projects that are consistent with the organization’s strategic goals and imperatives.

Qualifications Include:

A Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or healthcare related field
Five years of experience working in a healthcare setting with a Quality or Clinical area
Experience managing projects independently and as part of a team
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of California preferred
