Silicon Valley Medical Development, (SVMD) LLC is a growing provider organization with community-based ambulatory care clinics and medical practices in Santa Clara County.

The Quality Manager works under the direction of the VP of Operations supporting strategic design, implementation and performance of SVMD Managed Care quality and population health programs and clinical quality standards. He/she provides support and leadership in the areas of gap report generation, Epic bulk outreach initiatives, clinical policy and procedure standardization, patient safety initiatives, and best practice infection control guidance/implementation. The successful candidate will also engage providers with Epic based quality tools and provider/clinic education on quality programs for SVMD and affiliated providers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• RN or related licensure in the State of California
• Knowledge and experience working with Epic EMR
• Minimum 5 years of quality management and improvement experience in an ambulatory care organization (i.e., medical foundation, medical group)
• Knowledge of population health, HEDIS measures and related metrics
• Competency in computer systems and software used in functional areas, including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis and reporting systems pertaining to quality improvement and program evaluation
• Strong verbal and written communications, and active listening skills
• Effectively establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with physicians, leadership teams and staff to achieve best practice outcomes, improve clinical performance and corrective action plan responses
• Solid patient/guest relations skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
• Ability to work effectively as a team member who is flexible, cooperative and willing to assist others
• Ability to accurately perform complex math
• Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize task in order to complete assignments within the time allotted to maintain standard workflow
• Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred
