We are currently seeking a full-time Peer Review Coordinator in Risk Management.
The Peer Review Coordinator will support the hospital's medical staff peer review function in compliance with Joint Commission Standards, Title 22 for California, CMS Conditions of Participation and the Medical Staff Bylaws. The Peer Review Coordinator will join a team who facilitates the peer review process for the medical staff including preparation of peer review documents, coordination of peer review meetings, documentation of peer review results, production of reports and maintenance of the peer review data base.
Qualifications include an Associate’s degree (Bachelor's preferred); valid CA RN licensure; five years of clinical experience in an acute hospital in multiple specialty areas; experience in a self-directed or management role; experience interacting closely with clinical providers; excellent communication and facilitation skills; computer proficiency in EHR and in use of tools for data management.
