About CPHQ CE Hours

Following successful completion of the CPHQ examination, the certificant is required to maintain certification by fulfilling continuing education (CE) requirements, which are reviewed and established annually by Healthcare Quality Certification Commission. The current requirements include obtaining and maintaining documentation of 30 CE hours over the 2-year recertification cycle and payment of a recertification fee. All CE must relate to areas covered in the most current examination content outline. Current employment in the quality management field is not required to maintain active CPHQ status.

Creative Healthcare (CHC) has formed a relationship with the California Association of Healthcare Quality to create a broader distribution channel for the company's existing products, in particular the Lean for Healthcare online training program.

Under the agreement, CHC will offer their Lean and Six Sigma online programs at a discount off the current retail price. Such discounts should make the product affordable even for individuals that are unable to get tuition reimbursement assistance from their employer. Completion of these programs not only equips healthcare professionals to solve problems in their immediate environment; the acquired skills should also make them more attractive to future employers.
