Senior Director, Health Care Performance Improvement and Execution


In this role, you will be responsible for working with Kaiser Permanente stakeholders to develop and deliver an effective and reliable infrastructure to improve organizational capacity for performance improvement and support the development of an execution strategy for key strategic initiatives in the quality system. You will also provide technical support to the leadership and team in program offices, regions, and local delivery system for strategic improvement. The scope of work projects will be broad and comprehensive and will include development of performance improvement framework, training, and operating strategy that will support promotion of the Department of Care and Service Quality and National Quality Committee priorities to improve performance in any of the Big Q Areas. Key stakeholders include, but are not limited to, the National Leadership Team, National Quality Committee, Regional leadership groups, regional and facility representatives, and labor management partners.


Qualifications Include:

    • At least five years of management experience


    • At least ten years of related experience


    • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or four years of experience in a directly related field with a high school diploma or GED; a master’s degree is preferred


    • Expert knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and advanced knowledge of multiple related functions


    • Expert knowledge and wide-ranging expertise of policies, practices, and systems


    • The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
