(Hospital Quality Assurance RN)


We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time Risk Specialist - RN (Hospital Quality Assurance Nurse) to assist in the design, facilitation and coordination of quality assurance/risk management performance improvement activities and to work collaboratively with the NMC medical staff, hospital departments and clinics as part of an effective quality assurance/risk management program. We’ll rely on this position to assist in the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures, review and evaluate patients' medical records, conduct incident investigations and analyze/validate clinical data to create trend reports and identify possible risk areas.

Minimum qualifications include CA RN licensure, 3-5 years of nursing experience, 2-3 years of experience in process improvement in a clinical setting and completion of all coursework leading to a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing (Master's preferred). A CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) from the ASHRM (American Society for Healthcare Risk Management) is also preferred.
